MinuteDrone is a Grenoble‑based French company founded in 2017 that makes it easy to book professional drone services in under a minute. They offer aerial imagery—from standard video to hyperspectral photos—for industries such as construction, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and real estate. The platform simplifies complex drone use by connecting clients with certified drone pilots and delivering inspection-grade visuals and data quickly. It also provides training programs for aspiring drone operators and offers certified pilot courses to support professional deployment.

Brand Strategy

Brand Visual Identity Redesign

  • Logo Refinement: We revisited the original logo to enhance scalability and recognition. I refined its aerial/drone-symbolality, simplified visual elements for clarity on various formats (mobile, print, drone decals), and improved typographic balance.

  • Colour Palette & Typography: Introduced a more structured palette—deep blues and fresh greens—to evoke precision, technology, and trust. Selected a clean, modern sans‑serif font to support readability and reinforce a professional, approachable tone.

  • Identity System: From icons and layouts to marketing templates, I created a unified visual language applied across print, pitch decks, imagery packs, and training materials—ensuring consistency from website to corporate collateral.

This rebrand gave MinuteDrone an elevated, professional presence, differentiating it in Grenoble’s drone landscape and building trust with corporate clients and institutions.

Colour Palette

MinuteDrone’s color palette centers on a crisp, professional white backdrop complemented by rich Battery Charged Blue and vibrant teal-green accents, balanced with neutral dark slate gray tones for text and icons.

 

The blue conveys technical precision and reliability, while the green hints at growth, environmental awareness, and forward-thinking innovation. This combination ensures strong visual contrast—ideal for readability and digital clarity—while maintaining a polished, trustworthy brand presence.

They blend organic forms with sharp technical elements, reinforcing MinuteDrone’s identity of professional yet approachable training; the visual storytelling helps communicate complex offerings in a friendly, intuitive way.

These illustrations see regular application across the site and marketing collateral, grounding episodic visual consistency and enhancing user understanding.

Website Design & Development

I led end‑to‑end design and execution of the website redesign in close collaboration with the developer, visual team, videographer, and the founder:

1. Discovery & Strategy Workshops

  • Held alignment sessions with the founder, visual and video teams to define goals, messaging, and UX priorities.

  • Mapped user journeys (e.g. booking a drone service, requesting training, accessing inspection data).

2. Wireframes & Visual Design

  • Created wireframes emphasizing clarity and visual hierarchy, then evolved them into high‑fidelity mockups in Figma.

  • Integrated rich drone footage and project videos produced by our videographer—carefully edited and captioned for maximum impact.

3. Developer Handoff & Collaboration

  • Delivered a modular component-based design system, including reusable Figma libraries. I coordinated closely with the developer during implementation to ensure pixel-perfect execution, responsive layouts, and performance optimization.

4. QA, Testing & Launch

  • Conducted usability testing and refined content spacing, CTAs, and workflows.

  • Ensured imagery and visuals met both branding consistency and loading-speed benchmarks.

5. Impact & Outcomes

  • Landing page bounce rate dropped by ~30%, significantly increasing time on site and improving enquiry conversions.

  • The refreshed site visually communicated MinuteDrone’s expertise and accelerated trust‑building with clients in sectors like agriculture, construction, and infrastructure.
