Farland Experiences is a boutique travel brand and is all about slow, meaningful travel through the hidden gems of France. They design intimate, small-group day trips and private tours that let you explore medieval towns, coastal villages, forests, and local culture without the rush of big crowds. From walking cobbled streets and tasting local flavors to soaking in nature’s calm, every experience is curated to feel authentic and personal. Their goal is simple: to help you discover France like a local, not a tourist. With Farland Experiences, it’s less about ticking places off a list and more about creating stories you’ll remember.

Brand Strategy
The project began with an in-depth brand strategy phase where I worked closely with the founders to define the core mission, values, and positioning of Farland Experiences. Since the brand is rooted in the philosophy of slow and meaningful travel, the strategy was designed to highlight authenticity, intimacy, and cultural immersion rather than conventional tourism. We identified the ideal target audience—travelers seeking unique, personal journeys beyond crowded tourist routes—and built a narrative that emphasized discovering hidden gems of Western France like a local. This strategic clarity laid the foundation for all branding and design decisions that followed.

Brand Naming
The name "Farland Experiences" was carefully crafted to embody the essence of the brand.
“Farland” conveys a sense of exploration and venturing beyond the familiar, symbolizing journeys into landscapes that feel untouched, authentic, and full of discovery. It reflects the brand’s promise of taking travelers away from crowded tourist hotspots and into the hidden corners of France.
Paired with “Experiences”, the name emphasizes that each journey is more than just a tour—it’s a meaningful, personal encounter with history, culture, and nature. Together, the name communicates both the adventure of traveling far and the intimacy of experiencing places deeply, perfectly aligning with the brand’s vision of slow and intentional travel.
The name is simple, evocative, and easy to remember—perfectly aligned with the brand’s promise of guiding travelers into the heart of France’s most authentic places.

Brand Identity Developement
With the strategy and name in place, I designed a complete visual identity system that expressed the brand’s essence. The logo, typography, and color palette were developed to strike a balance between modern sophistication and timeless elegance. Earthy tones and soft hues were chosen to mirror natural landscapes, while clean, refined typefaces represented professionalism and trust. Together, the visual identity evokes feelings of calm, authenticity, and curiosity, creating a strong and memorable impression across all touchpoints.

Colour Palette
The chosen color palette for Farland Experiences balances warmth, sophistication, and approachability—perfectly reflecting the brand’s philosophy of slow and meaningful travel. The primary color Lynch (deep muted blue) conveys trust, stability, and a sense of calm, echoing the peaceful rhythm of exploring hidden French landscapes. Papaya Whip (soft beige) adds warmth and openness, giving the brand a welcoming and approachable tone.
The secondary colors complement this foundation with richness and versatility. Pizza (golden yellow) introduces energy and optimism, symbolizing cultural vibrancy and the joy of discovery. Warm White ensures clarity and balance, allowing other brand elements to stand out with a clean and timeless aesthetic. Perano (soft lavender) adds a subtle touch of freshness and creativity, while Salt Box (muted gray) grounds the palette, offering sophistication and depth.
Together, these colors create a cohesive visual identity that feels inviting yet refined—capturing the essence of authentic travel experiences while ensuring consistency across print, digital, and web platforms.

Website Design & Development
For Farland Experiences, I designed and developed a fully custom website using Wix, with the goal of creating an immersive yet user-friendly digital experience that reflected the brand’s identity and values. I began by mapping out the user journey, ensuring that visitors could seamlessly explore tours, learn about the brand story, and make booking inquiries without friction.
The design combined clean layouts with rich imagery, allowing the stunning landscapes and cultural experiences of France to take center stage. I integrated the brand’s color palette and typography throughout to maintain visual consistency and create a cohesive look.
On the development side, I customized the Wix platform to achieve both aesthetic precision and functional ease, implementing responsive design for flawless browsing across devices. I also optimized the booking flow and navigation to encourage conversions while keeping the overall design minimal and inviting. The result is a website that not only communicates the brand’s essence but also provides a smooth and engaging user experience that inspires visitors to book their next journey with confidence.
