Brand Strategy
For Clementine Stitches, I developed a comprehensive brand strategy to establish a clear, cohesive identity that resonates with its audience. The brand, founded by twin creatives Clementine and Cecily, needed a distinct positioning in the modern needlepoint industry. My approach began with in-depth market research and competitor analysis, identifying opportunities to differentiate the brand. I defined a vibrant, joyful, and creative brand personality, aligning it with a niche audience passionate about artistry, beach culture, and modern craftsmanship. The strategy also focused on community-building, ensuring the brand would foster deep connections with its customers through storytelling and engagement.
I structured the brand fundamentals, refining its mission, vision, and values to emphasize accessibility, creativity, and inclusivity. A key aspect of the strategy was showcasing needlepoint as a modern and stylish art form, making it appealing to a new generation of crafters. The brand voice was crafted to be playful, welcoming, and inspiring, reinforcing its unique personality. Additionally, I outlined a content and social media strategy, including influencer collaborations, partnerships, and digital campaigns to boost awareness and engagement.
The result was a distinctive and cohesive brand identity that set Clementine Stitches apart from competitors. With a refined strategy, the brand now has a clear roadmap for growth—leveraging its strong visual identity, engaging storytelling, and community-driven marketing to establish itself as a fresh, innovative leader in the modern needlepoint space.

Website Design & Development
For the Clementine Stitches website, my approach focused on creating a visually immersive and user-friendly experience that aligns with the brand’s joyful, modern, and artistic identity. The website features a clean and inviting interface, designed to reflect the vibrant energy of the brand. With a soft color palette, playful typography, and high-quality imagery, the site creates an engaging atmosphere that immediately connects with visitors. The UI/UX design prioritizes easy navigation, guiding users through collections, brand story, and creative inspiration seamlessly.
A key aspect of the website’s development was ensuring a smooth transition to its e-commerce partner, Lycette Design, without disrupting the customer journey. Instead of a traditional e-commerce setup, I designed the site to redirect purchases to Lycette Design, maintaining the integrity of their partnership while still providing a cohesive and branded shopping experience. This approach allows Clementine Stitches to showcase its designs while leveraging an established retail platform for transactions.
Beyond aesthetics, the website incorporates storytelling elements, bringing the brand’s personality to life. Features such as interactive hover effects, a blog section, and integrated social media links enhance engagement and encourage community-building. The result is a visually compelling, functionally seamless, and strategically structured website that strengthens Clementine Stitches' presence while honoring its collaborative business model.
